Hillarie graduated with her Bachelor and Master of Science (Accounting) at the University of North Texas in August 2001.  Upon graduation, she began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she attained Tax Manager status.  During her time there, she obtained a broad range of experience and knowledge in corporate, partnership and individual income taxation.  But, there was something missing, most notably a purpose.

As such, Hillarie left the public accounting world in June 2010 and began working in a large corporate tax department at DynCorp International (now owned by Amentum). During that time, she deepened her corporate income tax knowledge in various areas.  But again, something was missing – a purpose.  

Hillarie has now returned to public accounting here at Pine and Company CPAs and is excited to be part of such a purpose driven and faith-based team!  She hopes to help clients find financial freedom by providing valuable tax advice.

Hillarie’s most important title in life however is MOM.  She has a wonderful family including a daughter, a son, a husband and 3 crazy dogs! In her spare time, Hillarie can be found on the soccer field cheering for one of her 2 children, at her church volunteering at the food bank, on her Peloton bike or enjoying time with her loving family and/or friends!
